RDA Apocalypse has made Maiev home for several years and while our roster has gone through many changes, we've managed to be one of the largest most successful guilds on the server. We are proud to state that we have a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining a sense of competitiveness, professionalism, and dedication that one should expect from every progression raiding guild. Our absolute focus is getting the job done quickly and efficiently, but we haven't forgotten how to have fun too.

Our raids occur Friday - Sunday evenings. We have sign-ups thorough the use of the WoW calender throughout the week, and while signing up is optional we expect those who commit to attend to follow through with that commitment.

We do, of course, insist that all raiders come prepared with appropriate consumables, repair funds, and a committed attitude. Attendance is not strictly enforced as we understand that emergencies and other real-life situations do emerge, but we're only looking for players now who can maintain an 80% or higher raid attendance. We rarely enforce very specific specs and would rather rate you on your overall performance be it DPS, healing, or tanking. If you can still hold your own while dumping a few talent points into some handy PvP things, more power to you. And above all, we're looking to recruit people who will remain with us in the long-term. A large number of our members have been playing together for over a year and we strongly want to continue that trend.

Attitude and intelligence go a long way, and even if you can pump out 7000 DPS and hold down a 2300+ arena team, if you can't carry on a conversation without tacking "lol" onto the end of every sentence, or talk down to the people we play with without offering genuine constructive advice, don't bother applying. Most Clan members are in their early 20's, but age isn't an important factor for us. If you can show up, perform well, and not act like a spoiled brat, it doesn't matter if you're still in high school or not. With that said, if you live under the constant threat of being grounded, or sent to bed early, then you aren't what we're looking for either.

Any applicant that wishes to be strongly considered should be geared appropriately for the content we're seeing. A solid application will have numerous, if not full, pieces of 10 man gear. At the very least, we expect you to have a strong 5 man gear set. That said, however, gear is largely a secondary concern to us. Rather, we are far more interested in skilled players who are committed and dedicated to end-game raiding content and plan on continue playing well into Wrath of the Lich King, and those willing to help guildies when they are in need as we at RDA are extremely guild oriented. Even if you feel that you are under-geared for the spot that you are applying for, you are certainly welcome to apply. Raiding experience isn't required, however you should be familiar with any fights you've not yet done including the ones we're working on.

We also happen to be extremely intolerant of drama. It has, undeniably, been one of the foremost reasons for the destruction of guilds in WoW. In accordance with our no-drama policy, if you are excessively whining, begging, fighting with others, flaming on the boards or doing anything that could damage the reputation of the guild, you will be warned. If you continue to disregard the warning, you will be promptly removed from the guild. Common sense is your best friend. Additionally, RDA Apocalypse has long held a strongly respected position on Maiev server boards. You don't have to be the next Gandhi, but starting or strongly participating in flame wars will not be tolerated.

Please take the time to fill out an application well. Tell us who you are, what you think about your class, your philosophies on your role in the raid. Give us a good idea why we should bring your into our ranks. Provide us with WWS (if you have some, even if they are from TBC) to show us proof that you know what you're doing, rather than have us run the risk of inviting you only to find out that you're some mouth-breathing dimwit who mashes buttons hoping to get by. Taking the time to tell us who you are, what you are about, and how you meet our requirements is the best way to get our attention.

If you decide that RDA Apocalypse is the right fit for you, take a look at the questionnaire and spend some real time going over it. Run it through a spell-checker, make sure you've got punctuation where it belongs, and make sure it gives us an accurate picture of why we should recruit you. Applications that have obviously had little to no time spent on them with be dismissed out of hand. If you're not willing to spend 30 minutes to get into the guild, how can we expect you to put forth a good effort for 10+ hours a week?
